Brisingr, the third book in Christopher Paolini's Inheritance saga, goes on sale at midnight on Sat, Sept. 20. (The first and best-known book is Eragon.) Many bookstores will be hosting midnight release parties Fri/Sat Sept. 19-20  - check your favorite local store for information.

According to the Zimmerli site, this exhibit's "illustrations explore various themes beloved of young children including numbers, rhymes and games, animals, fantasy, and images from everyday life."

Wall Stories: Children's Wallpaper and Books exhibit

Oct. 3, 2008 - April 5, 2009

Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York City

The show will explore the relationship between children's literature, popular culture and wallpaper since the 1870s, with papers inspired by Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland and other works. The show will also trace the development of children's books "from instructional to fictional" and the evolution of various interactive elements in books.
